Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 8, 2026
NonCompeteState (the “Site”) is operated by Desymphony EOOD, a Bulgarian limited-liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect — and what we do not
Decoder inputs are NOT collected. The enforceability decoder runs entirely client-side in your browser. We do not log your salary, industry, contract duration, garden-leave answer, state of execution, or current state. None of that data leaves your device.
Aggregate analytics ARE collected. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and features users find valuable. The information collected is aggregate (page-view counts, country-level geography, browser type, traffic source). We log decoder-result events at the state-code + verdict-bucket level — never the personalized combination of inputs that could identify you.
Server logs. Standard web server logs capture IP address, user agent, referrer, and requested URL. These are retained for security and troubleshooting purposes for up to 30 days, then rotated.
Cookies
We use a small set of cookies for: (a) Google Analytics 4 measurement, only if you accept the cookie banner; (b) the consent banner's own state (so we don't re-prompt you on every page); and (c) functional cookies for our content delivery network. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or third-party tracking pixels.
Lawyer-match referrals
If you click through to a third-party employment-law attorney or attorney-network referral service, that third party will collect their own data subject to their own privacy policy.Desymphony EOOD does not transmit your decoder inputs to referral partners; the referral hand-off is a simple link with (where applicable) a state-code parameter.
Email contact
If you email us, we retain that email and any reply thread for the period necessary to handle your inquiry plus a reasonable archival period for legal-defense purposes. We do not enroll email addresses into marketing lists from contact-form submissions.
Your rights
If you are an EU/EEA resident, you have rights under the GDPR including access, correction, deletion, portability, and restriction of processing. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA including the right to know, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share personal information). To exercise any right, email [email protected].
International transfers
Desymphony EOOD is registered in Sofia, Bulgaria. We use processors (Google for Analytics, our content delivery network, our hosting provider) that may transfer data outside your country. We rely on standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised version on this page with a new effective date.
